A: Volvo’s reliability has suffered quite a bit since the late ’90s. I’d say that their service life is also not what it used to be. I’ve owned fourteen Volvos since 1968 and one of them, the latest model I owned, was by far the worst. A 1979 model was the best of the lot and had rolled up 365,000 miles when I traded it. I currently have four but none newer than 1969.
Having said all of this, the one you are considering is better then most of the early 2000s. Its mileage is comparatively low for the age of the car. However, you should know that Volvos have become very expensive to repair with high parts costs. I would ask the seller for a complete set of service records and if they can’t be obtained, walk away.

A: Check the Volvo owner’s website below and see for yourself. There are many problems with this model and you are nearing the time when some extremely expensive repairs are going to be needed. The older Volvos were wonderful cars and would last forever, but not so with the current generation. Things break on those cars that never break or tear up on other models. I owned a ‘98 S70 that I paid as much keeping it on the road (bought it new) for 180,000 miles as I paid for it brand new.
One key is the resale value. The resale value of Volvos is as bad as the cars. That in itself is a reflection of how no one wants the troubles they bring with them.

The factory air intake draws its air from an opening in the radiator core support so this incoming air is already cool
The name cold air intake is very misleading. Any cold air intake will not cool the air any cooler than the ambient outside air temperature.
Your engine has an Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve. At any given time this valve dumps between 5% to 15% of 1200 degree exhaust gas directly into your intake manifold. A cold air intake can do little to change the effects of this.
Your engine is turbocharged. You would see more gains by installing a larger turbocharger inter-cooler. On a turbocharged engine this will make a difference, especially if you do anything to the turbocharger to increase the boost.

A: Any decent auto part stores will carry the replacement parts you need. I’m assuming you’re referring to the cables and connections, not the battery terminal itself. If thats the case, then you just need to buy a new battery.

A: i think you got a good deal. i own a 02 C70 hard top in 08 i paid 10k it had 40k miles on it my wife and i both love the car and have had no problems. we have the 2.3 HPT engine the boost is incredible. they don’t put the High Pressure Turbo in the convertibles but they are still pretty fast

A: I answered this for someone else about the same time as you posted on here as well. According to the pages listed below, Volvo is using a song that you can’t get {commercially}. They said it is called ‘I Adore You’ {by Melpo Mene}. It does have a link to the MySpace page, where it says you can listen to the song. It did give the following lyrics {which fit what you said}:
