Q: will axles off of a dodge m37 truck work on a 1986 dodge w150 long bed 4wd truck?
I have a 1986 dodge w150 that i use mainly for mudding and climbin. I want to be able to put some heavier axles under my truck and possibly put a locker in them.
Does anyone know if these are positrack or limited slip?

A: will they bolt right in, no.

could you make them work, probably but what you would have into it you could find 1 ton axles for it.

the front axle you can easily convert it to 8 lug by swapping the knuckles out from a 3/4 ton Dodge or the more common to find 3/4 ton GM truck.

if you can find the 3/4 ton dodge you can use the rear axle and it would bolt right in witth the exception of possibly needing a conversion u-joint. or if you the ability to change the spring perches, you can use a 14 bolt from a GM, or pretty much any 8 lug axle, just as long as the gear ratio matches the front.

Q: where can i buy a double eagle m37?
I am trying to find this gun because i have it but its orange tip completely broke off and i was trying to fix it but i cant fix it. does anyone know where i could buy it or at find a similar model????

A: You want a whole new one to replace one that works fine? You can just use some orange duct tape or paint. Perfectly legal.

Q: Can you fire 2-3/4 inch shells out of a m37 12ga shotgun?
It says on the barrel that the chamber is 3″. Does that mean it can take 3″ shells only, or 3″ and shorter?

A: There are 3 lengths of shells- 3 1/2″ (Super Magnum), 3″ (Magnum), and 2 3/4″. That is the length after firing. Prior to firing, they are 3/8-1/2″ shorter due to the crimp. As a result, it is actually possable to fit shells into a gun that are larger than the gun is intended to shoot.
A gun can fire shells that are the length of the chamber or shorter. A Super Magnum can fire all 3. A magnum can fire everything but 3 1/2″, and a gun chambered for 2 3/4″ shells will only fire 2 3/4″.

There are some novelty extra short 1 1/2″ and 2″ shells on the market as well. While it’s perfectly safe to fire them, not all guns will feed them reliably. If they will run in your gun though, they can be fun, because you can fit way more shells in your magazine.

Q: i need help with wrirting an appel letter to re-entry college, for being on a academic performance plan,i’m37?
im 37, married, a mother of one, and work a full time job as a prison guard

A: Indicate in your letter what you have done to improve your study habits and what progress you have made./

Q: Are M37 shotguns good? and do they still make them?
Yeah the Featherlight,

so they don’t produce originals anymore?

A: As stated above, Ithaca M37 Featherlights are as fine a sporting arm as you can ask.

They are the only ones I take over my mossbergs.

And yes, Ithaca is making them again, thank goodness! I may own one yet! (Since my Uncle ain’t willing to sell me his)

Q: Will Infiniti make a 3.7L Direct Injection engine for the Infiniti G37 or is it only for the M37?

A: Infiniti has not said anything but that it will be the engine in the M37. People are pretty saying they are very likely in doing that but who knows. It would be a stupid move by Infiniti if they didn’t. A 350 HP in a Infiniti G37 coupe would only be beneficial.

Q: how do you disassemble a ithaca m37 shotgun bolt from receiver?
trying to refinish shotgun for freind. having troubl getting tube mag and slide to release the bolt been a few years since ive done thisand im just a little rusty

A: I am assuming this is a true m37, if so then at the end of the tube mag there is a round threaded nut that attatches the barrel to the gun, you have to turn this counter clockwise looking down the barrel, this will release the barrel, with the nut backed off you then turn the barrel a 1/4 turn counter clockwise to release the breach then pull the barrel straight out, then you can remove the slide pump from the gun. hope this helps

Q: Dodge M37 for daily use?
I’m thinking about getting the old Dodge M37 everyday use. Any advice from my fellow military vehicle enthusiasts?
I can find them pretty well, and FYI: I live in CA not WA. So the closer it is the better!

I just want your input.

Reminds me of the deuce and a half I drove in the Army! I would do it, If I could afford the fuel!!

Q: Where can I find secure gun locks for the following guns?
One possible solution is to remove the firing pin, or other small component that is necessary for the guns operation, and storing that piece in a separate location. I know I can do this with the AK-S, but the Ithaca M37 doesn’t seem to have any small critical parts that I can easily remove.
AK-S
Ithaca 12Ga M37

I’m looking for something that is not just kid proof, but reasonably adult proof as well. What I mean by adult proof is that it is solid enough to prevent someone without tools getting the lock open.

A: Your best bet is goin to be a safe, obviously.
For the ak you could just pull the dust cover off and remove the recoil spring or bolt assembly to make it inoperable.
A steel, trigger lock should work on either.

Q: Does anyone know what Dodge truck that the military used for the M880 series?
I have a 1977 M880 series Dodge Truck, and i am trying to find parts to fix it up.

“The Dodge’s were provided as part of the US Government’s bailout of Chrysler. They had 24 volt electrical systems and were powered with the 318 cubic inch petrol motor. The CUCVs were an attempt by the U.S. military to use COTS (commercial, off-the-shelf) vehicles with minor modifications in non-combat roles. They were intended to replace the M37 Cargo Trucks and the M715 Cargo Trucks and related variants. Around 1973, Dodge began developing the M880 series trucks, which were militarized adaptations of their current model 4×4s. These trucks weren’t known as CUCVs at the time, but were in use for many years. They had two failings, a gasoline powerplant and 12-volt electrical systems. The electrical system was addressed by upgrades where needed, but the gas engine was a fatal flaw to a military increasingly going diesel.”

This is the Wikipedia entry i found.

A: It’s a tweaked Dodge W200 3/4 ton. Have fun with it!

M880 specs:

Chrysler 318 cubic inch engine (5.2 liters)
Torqueflite 727 automatic transmission
New Process 2-speed transfer case (full-time 4×4)
Leaf springs all corners
Dana 44 solid front axle (1:4.09 gearing)
Dana 60 solid rear axle (full-floating)
Front disc brakes
Rear drum brakes

Q: What knife lengths are legal without a license?
I am going on a month long camping trip, and need to get a durable, fixed blade. I am looking at the SOG seal pup M37, for its toughness, price, and great reviews. The blade is 5″ long, and I am wondering if you need a permit, or license to buy anything over a certain length

A: State specific.

Q: Ithaca M37 knockoff question…?
As everyone knows, Norinco, the Chinese gun corp. makes copies of the Remington 870’s, Winchester 1887’s, and the Ithaca M37 series. If I remember right, Remington is a major distributor of Norinco products for some reason, explaining how the Remington 870 knockoffs are allowed. So how has Norinco not come under any lawsuit/legal “fire” for copyright/patent infringement by making copies of other designs, such as the Winchester 1887 and Ithaca M37? Two days ago, I had the misfortune of handling a Norinco “M37″, and it was the most disgusting thing ever. The wood looked like it was at the bottom of a lake for 10 yrs., and the action… So gritty, so gritty… I’m surprised neither Winchester or Ithaca Gun have pursued Norinco yet for this “travesty”. Any input anyone?
Good point about the patents expiring fellas. I completely forgot about that aspect… still a pain in the a** to hear “M37″, and see Chinese crap!

A: Winchester and Ithaca are probably collecting some modest royalties on these guns. Either that, or the patents may be expired, just like the AR-15. I’m just guessing.

Q: What would happen if I bought and drank an UNOPENED bottle of Crystal Pepsi off ebay and drank it?
You could buy a vintage bottle of Crystal Pepsi here:

What would happen if I bought a bottle and drank it?
Would the yellowy tinge of the 15 year old soda be harmful to health? Im really tempted to find out!

A: FIRST OF ALL I DONT RECOMMEND ANYONE DOING THIS ITS NOT TO SAFE!!! believe it or not if the seal is good and there is not mold the soda is still sealed good and drinkable.(IT MIGHT GET YOU SICK )I WAS LUCKY AND IT DIDNT GET ME SICK it will taste bad and have almost no fizz. if you want to see what it will taste like put about 2 table spoons of water in a pepsi(( a friend of mine told me the clear pepsi tasted like pepsi with about 2 tablespoons of water in it he spilled water in his pepsi before)) and put it outside for about 2 hours and let it get hot. then bring it inside and let it get back to regular temperature. it will taste about that bad. i collect soda bottles and i had some full ones in storage for about 3 years and opened them and drank them from time to time. they were flat and not that good at all. but i was really thirsty. i didnt get sick.maybe i was just lucky .. just was really flat

Q: what is a better shotgun? a browning bps hunter or a ithaca model 37 (m37) feather light?
bolth are pump action, bottom ejecting and loading shotguns

A: I have owed both and still have the Browning. Nuff sed.

Q: Brown spots on Infiniti M37 2011?
Has anyone had any problems with brown spot on their chrome on Infiniti cars? We just purchased a 2011 M37 and are seeing brown spots on the chrome – on all chrome around the windows.
Yes on the exterior. There isn’t any plastic and we noticed it around all the chrome that goes around the windows. They are like little liver spots and my husband tried to remove them but they aren’t coming off. Something for everyone to keep an eye on. We will definitely take the car back. An almost $50,000 car should not have this problem!

A: Do you mean the exterior window chrome moldings? If so I had a similar problem when I first purchased my 2009 Infiniti G37 sedan, only to find out 2 days later I had failed to extract the translucent plastic seal protection on the moldings, you would think that the Detailed car wash before handing you the keys to the car would have removed the seal protecting the chrome molding. I just removed it from the molding by opening the front door, the brown spots where probably gathered over a short time from the accumulation of dirt on the plastic seal. If this is not the case I would highly recommend you take the car to the dealer and they will be able to assist you regarding the issue.
