Q: What are the top five negative points for Chevrolet Cruze?
Is it worth considering buying this car in Gurgaon / Delhi, considering i will be travelling quite a lot and also plan to go for long drives on weekends too..

A: TOP FIVE NEGATIVES THAT EVERYBODY KNOWS…

1. Interior Quality is poor when compared to Honda Civic…
2. High Speed Dynamics Very poor…
3. Turbo Lag
4. It’s an Old model with a new look in India…
5. Gears not as smooth as Civic…

Considering the traffic situation in Delhi now and in the coming future… It’s not worth spending that much on this car… Go in for more decent Honda City which comes in different segment though, but it’s more capable car for a Delhi person like you…

Q: How much do you think the Chevrolet Cruze will be?
isn’t it suppose to be replacing the Cobalt? does that mean it will likely be between 14-20k?

A: The Chevy Cruze will be a replacement to the Cobalt. However it is still in it’s concept phase for US release. You can definitely expect similar prices to the Cobalt, maybe a little higher because Chevy is promising this will get 40+ MPG because it will run on a 1.4L 4 Cylinder engine. No pricing has been announced yet.

Q: Which is the better car, the Chevrolet Cruze or the Ford Focus?
Shopping for a new car here in the Philippines. I don’t think there is that much difference except in some accessories between local and US versions of these cars (just minor things for example, we don’t need heated seats here!). So which do you think is the better car?

A: the focus is a much better car and a lot better made than the Chevy is and ford didn’t ask for any money on the bail out program,you got to respect them for that and they are building a much better car than Chevy is right now,and its one of the most fuel efficient cars their is on the market also,i have drove one and would consider buying one if i was looking for a good car,good luck.

A: Yes the car will be out of the vega plant from 40 years ago. Not sure how that is relevant to the quality of the new Cruse. After all folks drive Japanese cars made in plants that built planes that killed Americans at one time.

I saw one at a car show and it looked sharp. BTW the plant today builds Cobalts.

Q: Is buying used chevrolet cruze is better than buying a new Fiat Linea?

A: Yes it will be when the Cruz gets old enough to be a used car. The first ones are the ‘11 models so finding a used Cruz will prove to be a daunting task.

My brother is buying Cruze automatic next month. Very excited.

A: Great. Just purchased on Feb 25,’10 a Cruze LTZ automatic. Fantastic and superb, Great feel and solid vehicle. Picks up fast for overtaking and excellent road feel.Features are excellent and new compared to other cars. Compared with Jetta & Laura before deciding and no regrets. Color- Light Golden. Good Braking & powerful a/c, engine etc. though horn very light, have to change it. Good ground clearance, took it offroader in Kerala and handles well. Good choice, you will not regret it.

A: Chevrolet cruze is one of the best buy. Great looks and pricing is accurate. In this price getting too much. Cruze features are amazing. Go for a test drive you can compare the things yourself. chevrolet has come up with really great design this time.

I have already booked a white cruze LT(It is possible to refund).But yestreday i read in a review that it has high turbo lag but it is a rocket in highway but my main drive will be in the city.My other option is honda civic?I know chevrolet is not a good company as honda,and chevy has terrible after sales..So which car is better?

A: The engine blocks in the civics seem to crack. Its a design flaw. Its around a 4000 dollar repair. Honda only has a 3 year 36,000 mile warranty.

Q: I need help. Does anyboby knows where i can locate the low beam fuse for Chevrolet Cruze. I cant locate them?
Tried looking in both fuse box already but there isnt one exactly for the low beams

A: Many cars also have fuses in the engine compartment, check there. Also, If you don;t have low beams, that normally means your bulb is burned out.

A: Between these two cars, it has to be Chevrolet Cruze… It’s better because it’s more dynamic in looks, speed, interior quality and it is a better engineered car than our good old Octavia which is now showing signs of dating also… So Chevrolet is a better car!!!! Whereas Octavia will be discontinued shortly, since Skoda is coming up with another alternative by the end of 2010.

Holden in Australia have decided to begin building Cruzes here in Australia badged as Holdens, to my knowledge Cruzes are already avaliable in Europe as Chevrolets are they any good? how is the handling do they drive well? I would like to know to figure out how well they will sell here.

A: Yes it is a very good car but the top specs. model might face some minor technical difficulties.
